What is TOEFL? If I had to give a simple answer to this question, then I would say that Toefl is a proficiency test by which candidates can demonstrate their knowledge of the English language and demonstrate their eligibility to study in English speaking countries.


A person's life is incomplete without studying.


Besides helping us to find a job, studying helps us to grow as a person.


It is very hard to get a good education because of competition; it is very difficult to get into a good university.


The majority of students in their country do not get admission to a good college.


Therefore, the best advice anyone can give them is to try to get into an overseas college or university.

Candidates are tested on their knowledge of the English language in this exam.

The full name of TOEFL is Test of English as a Foreign Language.


The full form of the Toefl is an English language test which tests the proficiency of candidates who speak English as a foreign language.


Candidates whose native language is not English are those who do not speak it as a foreign language.


What are the TOEFL IBT And PBT Tests?



I would like to describe the two types of tests that TOEFL provides in this blog.


There are two types of TOEFL exams: IBT and PBT, which few people are aware of.


Internet-based tests are known as IBTs, whereas paper-based tests are known as PBTs.


In both tests, there are some differences; the duration of the IBT test is 4 hours, while the duration of the PBT test is 3 hours.


There are four sections in the IBT: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.


As with the IBT, the PBT has four sections; three are similar to the IBT: Reading, Writing, and Listening, but instead of Speaking, it has a section named structure.
